Just Baby newborn sessions are baby-focused and photographed within one hour. I plan for as many poses and photos as I can for our time so I can provide as many options for parents as possible. I also provide parents with a Newborn Preparation Guide to help ensure a great session with their little one. After the session, parents receive a full gallery of images to choose their favourite images from - images they can keep forever!

I typically photograph studio themed Christmas photos in November and have them wrapped up before the end of the month. This gives families the opportunity to have their custom card orders delivered before the Christmas mail rush! Each year I plan something new and have at least two options available to choose from. Sweet baby Lumie posed so well for her beautiful newborn portraits! We captured plenty of poses and I made sure to capture plenty of angles to make for a perfect family album. This session also included family poses as well so one day Lumie can look back at these moments and see her Mom and Dad when they first became a family of three!
I know that preparing for a portrait session can sometimes be stressful - especially if you have a little one and are trying to get everything ready and packed up to get out the door in time! Believe me, I’ve been there! However, it really can be a great experience! And, I wanted to share some things that parents can do to ensure the best session possible for their little one.
OMG!! These two beautiful babes were a DREAM to photograph for their twin newborn session in studio!! I especially love how they cozied up to another - just like they did in the womb! It’s hard to choose a favourite, but the photo of the boys kissing and cradling is definitely a once in a lifetime type of moment! Lifestyle sessions are photographed on location and we usually choose a few different rooms to use for our photos. Sometimes, if the weather is nice, we can go into the backyard for some outdoor photos too, but in this case we all stayed indoors!
The Just Baby Package focuses on baby and there is no limit on the number of poses or setups for the session. Parents are provided with the Studio’s Preparation Guide to help prepare for portraits. And, the best part is Mom and Dad get to sit back and relax (or have a snooze) while baby and I hang out.
Everlast Photography offers two options for studio posed newborn portraits - the Just Baby and the Newborn Session. The Just Baby package includes posed photos of baby alone in several props or setups. The Newborn Session includes those as well as the immediate family. So, just like these beautiful images from this gorgeous newborn session, those clients receive family posing as well as individual parent with baby posing.
OMG! I am so excited to share these beautiful lifestyle newborn portraits that I took for my friends in St. Albert! I really loved taking these photos for this family and celebrating their son’s arrival! He is such a sweet boy and already so loved! His big sister is happy to have been promoted to her post as Big Sister. I can’t wait to have many more cuddles and playdates with this little guys as he gets older and to watch this family grow!

Rosy and Lily came in to the studio for their newborn portraits at a bit older age. I was excited to be able to photograph these two beautiful ladies for this beautiful milestone of their first portraits - and their family’s first portraits with the twins! We started our session with the sibling and family poses and then moved on to Rosy and Lily’s photos together and individual.
Earlier in the year I was awarded a TOP TEN placement in the Summerana Magazine: The Baby Issue with this beautiful milestone baby session that I photographed in studio with Miss Dakota! I am so pleased with how these images turned out! Dakota was such an angel for each set up and is an absolutely adorable baby girl!
We had planned this maternity session month in advance and planned the perfect spot with the perfect time of day to get the most beautiful golden hour light for this couples’ maternity portraits! And, can you guess what happened? A storm rolled in! I don’t always love it when the weather turns to the unexpected, but I do always seem to love how the photos turn out when those clouds roll in! It makes for such a dramatic backdrop and in this case, this lovely couple got a lot of diverse photos for their session - some bright and sunny and some stormy!
I had an absolute blast photographing these guys! We have been friends for so many years yet don’t get to see each other often enough. Their family drove in all the way from Saskatchewan! I knew a great local location for their portraits which was perfect! And, the rain held off long enough that we were able to get some gold before the sun went down! These two boys totally have my heart and I love how their personalities shine through in these images. So much love in these photographs and I am the lucky one to document it!
