Baby Zena's newborn portrait session was pretty wonderful! We started by photographing her with her amazing big brother Atticus. He was such a sweetheart! His mom told me that every morning he gets up and goes looking for his sister to check on her. And, he's always speaking to her so sweetly with "baby talk". Isn't that amazing! Their bond will only grow stronger, I'm sure!
We planned some beatufiul set ups with purple and lace and a couple of simple ones too! Zena looked fabulous in all of them. She even opened those beautiful eyes of hers and let us get a couple of awake moments for her family.
It was really important to Zena's mom that we capture family images during this special time. And, I totally agree with this. Who wouldn't want the whole family included during their newborn session? During the first few days and weeks after a baby's arrival, everything can be changing so much. It's important to capture things how they were in the moment and to look back over the years and remember it all.
