Sweet baby Madison was such a wonderful newborn to photograph. I love her plump cheeks, her perfect features, and her beautiful hair. I had a lot of fun incorporating a couple of new props into her session.
I also really love her on this pink background. She seemed really happy having her hands up over her head. After she did this a few times, I decided I wanted to capture it, because I'm sure she does it a lot at home and it's something Mom and Dad will be able to look back on and remember about the early days of their daughter's life.
Her mom works with animals and I know her future will be filled with the love of all sorts of furry friends, so we selected a beautifully knitted bunny that I had just ordered in from a boutique shop Vastoy's Baby. I love how they turned out.
Again, parent poses are always some of my favourites. It brings me back to my first days as a parent and all of the love and warmth that I felt at that time. I can just see the pride and love on the faces of Madison's parents. I love being able to capture these for this family. I especially like the one where Dad is kissing Mom's neck and she's laughing. One of my favourites for sure!
